Eating a vegan diet to prevent hemorrhoids has worked for lots of people. A friend of mine told me their hemorrhoid story to share as long as I did not use their name. My friend admitted they ate fast food daily, rarely exercised and were on their computer most of their waking hours. They are a self-described “Internet Addict” who stopped being physically active.
My buddy started to experience bad constipation. They had to strain and struggle during bowel movements. Physicians tell us this is terrible for our anal health. All the added pressure and straining during my buddy’s bowel movements caused an external hemorrhoid. The very first time they saw blood on their toilet paper after wiping their heart raced. It is a terrifying moment.
Their medical doctor told them that a fast food diet can cause constipation that leads to piles. After getting their external pile treated my friend’s medical doctor recommended eating a vegan diet to prevent piles. My friend had heard of the vegan way of eating, but wasn’t sure they could eat like one. Like many, me too, they believed a vegan diet would be bland and hard to eat.
Not ever wanting to experience having hemorrhoids again my friend took the bold step of eating a vegan diet to prevent hemorrhoids. Veganism is a whole food vegetarian diet that excludes eggs, meat, dairy products and all other animal related ingredients.
There are also vegans that will not eat processed foods. It can be seen as both a diet and life philosophy. In my buddy’s case they decided to eat vegan to improve digestive health and avoid hemorrhoids. Giving up junk food was tough for my buddy. Old habits don’t die easy, but they had the will to do it.
They went online to shop for vegan cookbooks and discovered lots of helpful ones with delicious vegetarian dishes. In a small period of time they began to lose weight and their constipation was a bad memory. Eating a vegan diet to stop hemorrhoids is working in their life.
