My wife was six months on the way after a year of marriage. Since she wanted to be a full fledged mother to our new baby, she had to resign from her job after she gave birth.

But we did not expect delivery complications, so the baby had to be delivered through C-section. We were not financially ready for the emergency delivery. To pay the debts we incurred, I persuaded my wife to stick to her job.

My wife was already prepared for motherhood and she did not like the idea of getting a nanny to take care of the baby while we both work. I understood how she felt since she grew up with her mother taking care of her all the time. I asked her if she had heard of nanny cams.

I knew something about nanny cams, and I shared to my wife the benefits they would give to us if we have them installed. DVR hidden cameras grew famous in a lot of establishments and homes due to their effectiveness as surveillance devices.

The dilemmas of going back to work after giving birth, hiring a nanny for the baby, and installing nanny cams became our frequent topics for the weeks while my wife was on her maternity leave. As the date that she had to return to work neared, she was still not convinced with hiring a nanny.

Perhaps I did not do a good job of describing to her the advantages of the nanny cams as an effective surveillance tool. As one kind of DVR hidden cameras, a nanny camera would record every movement and store all the data in an SD card.

As much as I would really want her to be a hands-on mom to our new baby, our finances were so tight. After assuring her that this was just a temporary set-up, my wife agreed to hire a nanny and install a hidden camera.

True to my promise, as soon as we had recovered from our debts, I allowed her to resign from her job. The nanny had to go but the hidden camera had to stay. We did not know when it would come in handy again.
